We’re excited to invite you, our community, to the Victoria Brain Injury Society’s 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, September 16th at 5 pm. It will be hosted by the Ukrainian Cultural Centre (3277 Douglas St, Victoria, BC V8Z 3K9).
Our AGM is a chance to come together, reflect on the work and impact of the past year, and look ahead at what’s next for VBIS. Our dedicated team has been working hard this past year to meet the rising needs of our clients, and we are excited to share the progress we’ve made with our community. At the event, we will share updates on our programs, initiatives, and the ways we continue to support, educate, and advocate for people living with brain injury.
The evening will kick off with refreshments and opening remarks from Mayor Alto. It will include the live launch of our new website and a NeuroTracker demonstration. NeuroTracker is a cognitive rehabilitation tool developed in collaboration with the University of Victoria’s Christie Lab that uses software to engage skills such as attention, working memory, and visual tracking. We’ll also highlight some of the innovative work happening at VBIS.
