Marketing and Communications Specialist

Position Summary:
The Marketing & Communications Specialist at the Victoria Brain Injury Society (VBIS) leads dynamic marketing initiatives to amplify our mission of empowering brain injury survivors and their families. This role is at the heart of our efforts to raise awareness, engage donors, and connect our community with essential resources. The specialist will develop and execute impactful campaigns, craft compelling content, and manage event promotions, including our annual gala. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible difference while growing expertise in non-profit communications.

GRANT WRITER (CONTRACT POSITION)
Open until filled
Reports to: Executive Director
Hours of Employment: 20 hours/week
Compensation: $26 per hour
Job Purpose:
As the Grant Writer, you’ll create a portfolio of funding proposals, letters of interest (LOIs), reports and other funding materials. Your goal will be to increase revenue through your successful proposal writing . Your success will expand VBIS’ mission – providing service, education, and support to brain injury survivors and their families.
We’re looking for someone who believes in the mission of VBIS and has exceptional drive for furthering our communications and fundraising efforts as well as strategizing and delivering on new ones.
