More Survivors Like Kira Need Your Help

Kira was a teen with Olympic dreams – and for a swimmer as gifted as her, those dreams were well within reach. But a series of concussions changed the course of her life.

Looking back, Kira wishes she’d had then what she has now – peers who understand what she was going through. As a volunteer with VBIS’ LIFT program, – a support & learning group for survivors aged 16-25 – she’s making sure the next generation finds education, resources, and empathy when they need it most

So why $4381.65?

Because none of our kids should feel invisible, under-pressure, and barred from pursuing their passions because of an injury they don’t understand. We want every youth in Victoria to have access to support after a brain injury. And at a cost of $22.47 per student  $4,381.65 can provide LIFT to a class’s worth of students at each high school in the CRD!
