Each year the Greater Victoria Coalition to End Homelessness, with the help of hard working volunteers, puts on Project Connect, an annual service fair for people experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty in Greater Victoria.
An estimated 700 people attend Project Connect to access services, like foot care, haircuts, ID replacement, veterinary help, and medical attention and much more.
Attendees don’t just get access to much needed services; they are also treated to a barbecue and receive custom care packs filled with the necessities for the coming winter months.
This year Project Connect will be on October 17, 2012 at Our Place (919 Pandora Ave) from 9:00am to 3:00pm
