Yoga is a great way to relieve stress, build strength and increase flexibility for participants of all shapes, sizes and strengths. VBIS holds yoga classes for brain injury survivors and their families on Thursday evenings from 6-7pm. Classes are led by Helena Mitchell. Helena is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher and has been practicing yoga for over ten years. Her approach is open, playful and lighthearted. She invites participants to explore each pose in their own body from a fundamental, universal and safe place. No experience is necessary, Helena will customize the session to meet your needs.
